To ensure the smooth conduct of the bathing festival, the entire fair area has been divided into 4 super zones, 14 zones and 40 sectors. A briefing was held today for this. In the briefing, information was given about controlling the crowd of devotees coming for the bath and performing the bathing duty honestly. Haridwar SSP Pramendra Singh Dobal said that a lot of devotees are expected to come for the Baisakhi bath. Last time, a record number of people had come. In this sequence, we have made security arrangements. This time the entire fair area has been divided into four super zones. 14 zones and 40 sectors have been created. Along with that, about 700-800 police personnel along with PAC force have been deployed for fair duty. The force will be on duty from night and this duty will continue uninterrupted till the bathing in the fair area. Two strategies have been prepared to avoid traffic jams. SP Traffic has been made the nodal officer for traffic regulation. The diversion plan will be implemented on his call. If the traffic pressure increases, the diversion plan will be implemented. Bairagi Camp has been marked as an additional parking place. On the other hand, regarding the call given by Babbar Khalsa to the Sikh community to reach Haridwar for Gyan Godri Gurudwara on Baisakhi, the SSP said that full preparations have been made to ensure that there is no law and order problem.
