Corridor will be constructed from Haridwar to Rishikesh, Chief Minister Dhami told the complete master plan

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that our government is continuously working with full commitment towards the development of Uttarakhand. In this sequence, a master plan is being prepared for Haridwar keeping in mind the needs of the next 50-60 years. Along with this, work has also been started towards the construction of a corridor from Haridwar to Rishikesh. The Chief Minister said this during a program of Vaishya Samaj in Haridwar on Sunday. The Chief Minister was on a visit to Haridwar on Sunday. During this, in the morning, he inaugurated the new building of Maharaja Agrasen Aggarwal Ashram Trust in Bhupatwala. Addressing the golden jubilee celebrations of the ashram here, the CM said that work is being done towards the preservation and promotion of cultural traditions under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Concrete steps are being taken towards realizing the dream of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ with initiatives like ‘Local for Vocal’, ‘Make in India’ and ‘Startup India’. The overall development of Uttarakhand is also being ensured under the guidance of the PM. This is the reason why our state has come in the category of achievers in ease of doing business and leaders in startup ranking. Not only this, we have got the first position in achieving the goals of sustainable development in the SDG Index Report released by NITI Aayog. Uttarakhand has also emerged as a leading state in providing employment to the youth. We have also surpassed the national average by reducing the unemployment rate by 4.4 percent in one year.
