He said that when educated people are so ignorant, then it is worth thinking how ignorant the people of the society will be. Only police officers investigate them. Police complaints are investigated by police officers themselves, hence cases are often covered up. Complaints about cases of human rights violations should be investigated by officials of the Human Rights Commission. Police should improve their behavior towards the common man. Even today people are kept in illegal custody in the police station. They are tortured. Awareness is necessary to ban this. The Supreme Court and the High Court have issued guidelines from time to time to prevent human rights violations, but these are not implemented by the administration. Because of this, a person’s rights are violated. There should be a proper system to monitor the rights that human beings have been given to live life in a dignified manner and there should also be a provision for strict action against officials who violate human rights. Only then is it possible to protect human rights.
